Dr. Virgilio Gutierrez

Dr. G received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Texas Health and Science Center San Antonio Dental School. His passionate interest in and dedication to dentistry motivated him to continue his studies through rigorous, advanced surgical and cosmetic training at many prestigious and well-known international and US-based institutions.

These educational achievements, as well as his notable patient-focused practice, have garnered Dr. Gutierrez numerous awards and recognitions. These include a Fellowship by the German Society of Oral Implantology through the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in Berlin, Germany. He is also a pioneer in bringing Plasma-Rich Growth Factors dental biologic technology to Texas and was the first to utilize this technique in Houston. For introducing this advancement in the practice of dentistry to Texas and Houston, he was recognized by the Endoret Biotechnology Institute Center.

In addition to this excellent educational background, Dr. Gutierrez understands that top-quality dental care goes hand in hand with patient comfort. This understanding led Dr. Gutierrez to pursue and complete a mini residency in intravenous and oral sedation training.

This interdisciplinary background and training enable Dr. Gutierrez to bring to our practice a multitude of dental specialties, including periodontal surgery (gum grafting), implant surgery, osseous grafting, and prosthodontics.

Dr. Cade Foust

Dr. Foust works to connect with his patients, and through this understanding, makes suggestions that would be most suitable. Nothing makes him happier than to hear his patients ask, “That’s it?” at the end of a procedure.  Equally rewarding is that he provides his patients with the best possible care. He underwent the initial training in dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio. On completion, he went on to accept the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in Laredo, during which he focused on oral surgery procedures and IV sedation. He has successfully conducted more than 25,000 wisdom tooth extractions.

To keep abreast of the latest advancements and research pertaining to the field, Dr Foust holds memberships of organizations such as the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology He is also a regular churchgoer and has been involved with various charitable organizations, like Sleep in Heavenly Peace which is aimed at ending child bedlessness. Subsequent to Hurricane Harvey, He participated in various programs to help families in Houston recover from the physical and mental trauma and to rebuild their homes.  During his time off, Dr Foust loves spending time with his wonderful wife Stacey and their four children – aged 18, 16 and 8-year-old twins. 

Dr. Liza Shevchenko

Dr. Shevchenko’s first step in her professional career was graduating with honors from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Texas Dental School in Houston. At the top of her class, she received her degree with honors and was recognized by the university as an “outstanding graduate”.

Building on her list of achievements in education and research, she was accepted into an orthodontic residency at The University of Texas Dental School. She subsequently earned her Master of Science degree and certificate in Orthodontics. Dr. Shevchenko later completed a rigorous examination to become a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics, the highest level achievable in education, evaluation, specialized excellence, and ethics. These accomplishments reflect her ongoing commitment to continuing education and professional excellence.

Dr. Shevchenko is an orthodontic specialist following the highest standards of patient care using the latest cutting-edge technologies. Her goal is to build long-term, mutually rewarding doctor-patient relationships by being both responsive to each patient’s needs and ensuring each patient understands their treatments.

Professional organization memberships include the American Orthodontic Association and the American Board of Orthodontics.

Dr. Toan Huynh

Dr. Toan Huynh is a dedicated dentist with a passion for transforming smiles and improving oral health with his dental expertise and warm bedside manner. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Arizona. During his dental school journey, he was recognized with the Digital Dentistry Award for his innovative use of technology in patient care. He is certified to use laser technology in dentistry, which enables him to offer minimally invasive, precise, and virtually painless treatments to his patients.

What truly sets Dr. Huynh apart is his genuine passion for patient care. He understands that visiting the dentist can be a source of anxiety for many individuals, and he goes above and beyond to create a welcoming and comfortable environment. He takes the time to listen to his patients’ concerns and educates them on their oral health, empowering them to make informed decisions about their dental care.

Dr. Huynh is fluent in both English and Vietnamese, facilitating clear and effective communication with a diverse patient population. He is an active member of dental associations, including the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Greater Houston Dental Society. His involvement in these organizations underscores his dedication to staying updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.

Beyond the dental chair, he enjoys exploring the great outdoors through hiking. Hiking through scenic landscapes allows him to rejuvenate his mind and connect with the natural world. His love for reading fuels his curiosity, ensuring he stays informed about the latest advancements in the ever-evolving field of dentistry
